Introduction
Before I begin, I want to make a parallel between Salesforce and AppForceStudio in order to explain what type of app studio we are building?. According to google search results, Salesforce provides users with comprehensive tools that manages customer data, automates processes, analyzes data and provides insights that helps creates personalize customer experiences. My vision for AppForceStudio is to build the next generation app creation studio to allow users to design apps, build apps, manage & automate the entire app development and deployments process. Salesforce and AppForceStudio obviously do not provide the same products or services and neither are they competitors but when I think of Salesforce being the go to platform for lots of enterprise clients, my vision for AppForceStudio is to be the go to platform for creating apps in the future. This would mean we are able to provide tools for developers, designers, project managers, product managers, QAs, business analyst and just about anybody that wants to create apps from scratch.
What type of App Studio we are building
Creating the next generation app creation studio won’t happen without the help of artificial intelligence (AI), so we are going to focus on building tools around the use of AI whether its allowing users to create user design interface (UI) & user experience (UX) from prompts engineering or generating programmatic code from images, designs or even html. AI will play an important role in the building of AppForceStudio. Another important aspect that would be required in building this next generation studio would be the use of cloud tools to manage the creation and deployment of the apps built. This will allow the studio to narrow the gap between development and continuous deployment to closed platforms App stores like Apple App store and Google Play store.
With the rise Generative AI and AI coder assistance likes ChatGPT and Github Copilot, it has become more easier that ever to build tools around generating app code and UI design. The current AI pubic tools and api available are not able to create full production ready apps, but they allow us to create bits and pieces of it of the puzzle. With AI on the rise, the future of app development will change. What Shopify, WordPress, Wix and template Sites companies did for web development will likely be achieved with AI for App Developments.
