If you’ve created something awesome – whether via prompt, screenshot, or code – and want to share it or reuse it later, exporting it as an template is the way to go.
Here’s how to do it in a few clicks.
Step 1: Set Up Your Playground
Templates can only be created from within a Playground, which is your interactive workspace in AppForceStudio.

Step 2: Build Your App (Your Way)
Whether you’ve used:
- Generate with AI Prompt
- Create with Screenshot
- Create with Code
…or a mix of all three, make sure your design is complete, clean, and polished. You can tweak screens, UI components, navigation, styles – and even edit the code directly.
Once your app design feels ready to save and share, you’re just one step away.
Step 3: Click “Publish” to Export as an App Template
Inside your Playground, look for the “Publish” button at the top right.
When you click it:
- A form will appear asking you to add details about your template
(name, description, use case, categories, etc.) - Once completed, your project will be featured as an app template in the AppForceStudio Template Gallery – a resource library where others can browse, clone, and remix your design.
Note: Exporting a template does not deploy your app. It simply saves and shares the structure for others (or you) to use later.
